Adriene’s passion for building strong corporate cultures began organically during her time at a Silicon Valley startup. Naturally outgoing and curious, she often connected with new employees. One day, she asked a recent hire who they reported to only to discover they didn’t know. That moment sparked a realization: the company lacked a structured on-boarding process.
Determined to improve the experience for new hires, Adriene collaborated with the CEO, HR, and the engineering team to develop and implement a comprehensive on-boarding program. Her initiative and results impressed the CEO, who entrusted her with more responsibilities. Soon, she was leading “Sync-Up Fridays” a weekly forum that united teams to align around the company’s vision and values.
Her leadership journey continued when she became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a Nevada-based startup. In this role, Adriene spearheaded the company’s growth strategy and was hands-on in testing and refining the company’s mobile app. With more than a decade of experience in the IT sector, she was well-equipped to navigate the fast-paced world of tech startups and leadership.
